This is a running list of cool stuff I have done at the startup I work for, Wavelogix.
Construction Related:
- See a concrete pouring robot
- Almost get hit by an eighteen-wheeler
- Witness the cast of the first transparent form bridge in the state of Indiana
- Walk on the runway at the Indianapolis International Airport
Engineering Related:
- Develop an industrial datalogger from idea to market
- Design a PCBA for mass production
- Build 100 prototypes of datalogger
- Be a one-man product design wrecking crew: firmware, hardware, case, label, and everything else
- Make expensive mistakes that cost me a full work week
- Implement product number and revision system
- Set requirements for and work with a contractor for our cloud dashboard
- Transition from Keil MDK to a modular development environment using CMake and VS Code
Business Related:
- Pitch product to potential angel investors
- Create office floorplans
- Coordinate move out of an office space
- Coordinate move in to an office space
- Manage online accounts and subsscriptions
- Transfer online accounts to generalized contact information to allow easy control of access

- Work in an open office space alone for almost 9 months
